Homecoming Week- Dress up Days!

It’s Homecoming week at White Oak ISD!!!

Join us September 13-17 as we celebrate Homecoming- “There’s No Place Like Home!”

Monday- “Which witch is which”- Twin Day

Tuesday- “Twister day”- Wear wacky clothes and crazy hair

Wednesday- “Follow the yellow brick road to your future”- Wear college attire, military, or your career choice

Thursday- “There’s a storm coming”- Color Day:  6th-wear white; 7th- wear gray; 8th- wear maroon

Friday- “There’s no place like home”- Wear maroon and white

Students may wear their mums or garters on Friday, but the school will not be responsible for lost or damaged mums/garters.

My name is Becky Balboa, and I am proud to serve as White Oak Middle School Principal. I live in White Oak with my two children, Madison and Connor. They keep me busy with their extracurricular activities. Education: Graduated from Pine Tree High School in 1993. Received BA in Elementary Education from SFA in 1998. Received Masters in Educational Leadership from SFA in 2004. Career: 22 years experience in education: kindergarten teacher, assistant principal, Head Start Director, principal.
