White Oak ISD Hosts annual Thanksgiving lunch for Senior Citizens

 

On behalf of the students, faculty, and staff of the White Oak Independent School District, the members of the Board of Trustees cordially invite all senior citizens (age 55 and older) to a Thanksgiving Luncheon to be hosted in your honor on Friday, November 22, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. in the Judy C. Meredith Secondary Food Services Building.

Middle School Students Receive Shoutout from Vocabulary.com

Congratulations to Mrs. Lobue’s classes for mastering so many vocabulary words.  All of our students are participating in the Vocabulary Bowl.  Parents- ask your child to log on to vocabulary.com to continue learning new words. Challenge them to use those words in their conversations and writing.

Middle School All-Region Choir

On Saturday, October 26, students from White Oak Middle School competed in the Middle School All-Region Choir Competition. They prepared three pieces of music and sang for a panel of three judges.
Each one is evaluated on quality of tone, dynamics, and overall musicianship. The winners perform in a concert with other students from the region at Mt. Pleasant High School on Saturday, November 9, at 5:00 p.m.
